Q. : And what of others? Should we not care for a humanity that is precariously adrift and lost, and ultimately forgive the world for its injustices, crimes, and misfortunes? Should we not forgive those who betray, harm, or hate us, and seek forgiveness in return?
A.: And forgiveness, toward whom? Toward what?
When it is seen that what appears “outside” arises from within, all blame dissolves. There is no “other” you imagine it, no real separation, no division except within yourself. How can you forgive what you yourself have, knowingly or not, created and projected?
This is not indifference. It is responsibility of the highest order.
