Yet, as an ordinary man, for you time flows linearly, endlessly. And like a slave of nature, you are carried by it like a small craft on the current of life. For as long as you live inside time, you are ruled by it. You cannot master events, nor the actions of others, nor the economic currents of nations, because you have not yet mastered your own pain, fear, despair, and misery.
