Money is a consequence. Money is an inner matter. When you are in charge of yourself, money comes in abundance, without any effort.
I am a living example of this. I believe in, and I live in, a state of stillness. Stillness. Remembering myself all the time. Being present. Aware of whatever is happening within myself.
And the world follows. The world follows. The world obeys.
But you have to return to your inner integrity. Inner oneness. To be intact.
Economics and politics are ghosts
Money is the most stupid thing that man invented. Money is an inner matter.
Out there, there is no money. It is your self-hypnotism that believes there is an economy, a financial world, and politics. They are ghosts.
I am not trying to offend anybody. This is my realisation.
When you return to your own integrity, the world disappears. The world disappears. No war, no conflict, no poverty, no death.
The slightest change in your inner being moves mountains. You yourself are the creator. You yourself are the dreamer.
Acting consciously, 24 hours a day
When you realise this, in the world of what we call reality you have just to act: like a very good actor, a very good actress. You go into the world and you act. You play your role.
It is like wearing a mask. But you have to act 24 hours a day. Acting.
This is how you can remember yourself: being aware of yourself, in charge of yourself, in command and at the same time being in what we call reality, dealing with all the difficulties and, let us say, the horrors of the world.
When you arrive, everything goes right. Whatever you touch, everything goes right. It is your presence, your integrity, that creates harmony, prosperity, truth, goodness, beauty.
Any questions? A professor of mine in Florence used to say: after this, there are no questions.
Acting: with your wife, with your children, with your husband, with your parents, with your friends. Acting. If you stop acting, you die. Acting.
Acting is not lying. Acting consciously, intentionally — and you will have relations much richer than before. Acting consciously.
I am a father. I am a husband. I am a friend. I have enemies. Acting is the secret. And if you act consciously, the world knows about it.
Are there many realities?
A question from the amphitheatre.
Q. Excuse me. You have repeatedly referred to reality: you said “reality” many times. My question is: do you believe there are many realities happening at the same time, as quantum physics and quantum mechanics suggest? I am wondering what your beliefs are in relation to reality, or realities in the plural.
A. No. Only you yourself.
Q. One reality.
A. Only you yourself. Whatever is happening within yourself, you encounter in the world. Nothing else. The others are your own reminiscences. The others do not exist. Only you. Only you yourself.
Q. So the others around me do not exist, only me? The others, I mean, in the amphitheatre?
A. The others are your reminiscence. The others do not exist.
If you want the others to exist, you have to go through all the stupidities that man invented when he separated himself from the outer world. There is no separate reality. The world and you are one. You are the creator. The world is just following. The world is just mirroring you. Only you yourself.
Nobody likes it, because we fall into a sort of loneliness, a sadness, to know that you yourself are the only reality.
If you do not understand this, you can go through science, physics, or quantum physics, all the stupidities, believing that the world out there is a separate reality. And you will fall into the same trap.
You don’t need coaches or gurus
You don’t need coaches. And you don’t need masters, gurus, schools, disciplines, methods, systems.
Put yourself in God’s shoes. Do you think that God needs someone to tell him, her, what to do or not to do? You are the creator. The creator also of all the errors and horrors, just because you are a forgetful God.
You fell into a state of forgetfulness, and you tried to invent conscience, consciousness, psychology, and all that stuff. Science and technology.
Return to yourself. You know everything.
Why I removed the desks from my school
In my school I eliminated all the desks, the professor’s desk and the student’s desk, because I don’t believe you can teach something to somebody else.
That is violence. That is a crime: to instill something. All of that stuff is second-hand knowledge, false ideas, obsolete notions. To instill that into a young man, a young woman, is a crime. That is poison.
There is no distance in my school. Because a student is coming with a very precious material: his, her youth. Freshness. Creativity.
We should pay the students to come to the school.
And the schools as they are, the universities as they are, will fail in a couple of decades. They will disappear, if they do not change.
Never beg for a job
In my school we tell our students: never, never beg for a job.
You come out of the European School of Economics, but never go around begging for a job. You are the creator. You cannot be an employee.
We will discover — it takes time — we will discover that the salary is the worst drug.
Salary is a drug. Don’t go around to have a salary, because you will depend upon somebody else, and you will just get disappointed and sad.
Then try to be free: because you yourself are free.
Just remember.
